Workshop for Western North Carolina: A Fundraiser

Workshop for Western North Carolina: A Fundraiser

$0.00

Are you planning to kick off 2025 by revising and submitting your work? Jump into gear with this two-hour workshop taught by renowned short story writer and novelist Joanna Pearson. In this workshop fundraiser for hurricane relief in Western North Carolina, we will focus on workshopping student pieces with an eye toward strengthening our approach to revision.  Students who are interested in participating should have an approximately 4,000 word short story draft (or excerpt) ready to submit by January 10. Registration will close on January 10 to allow time for work to be distributed and read in advance of our first meeting on January 24.  (Depending on the number of participants, this will be either a single session or two-session workshop.)
