Margaret Patton Chapman is an author and teacher. Her novella-in-flash, Bell and Bargain, was published in 2014 as part of the collection My Very End of the Universe from Rose Metal Press. Her very short fiction has appeared in Diagram, The Collagist, Fanzine, and the anthologies The Way We Sleep (Curbside Splendor), and My Name was Never Frankenstein (University of Indiana) among others. Before she received her MFA from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, she wrote about arts, music and culture for the Independent Weekly and the Austin Chronicle. She teaches writing and literature at Elon University and lives in Durham, NC, her hometown.
