Lauren Krouse is a creative nonfiction writer and freelance journalist who covers domestic violence, women’s health, mental health, technology, and LGBTQ+ issues. Her work has appeared in the Washington Post, USA Today, Women's Health, Huffington Post, Parents Magazine, Shondaland, Shenandoah, and elsewhere. She holds a BA in English and Creative Writing from the College of Charleston and an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from UNC-Wilmington. She lives in downtown Raleigh with her husband.
